My ideal client is someone who feels stuck in the heavy grip of grief, trauma, or overwhelming stress: You may be struggling with the loss of a loved one, coping with the aftermath of a traumatic event, or feeling completely drained by the ongoing pressures of life. You often feel isolated, misunderstood, or unable to find relief despite their best efforts.

My therapeutic approach is both collaborative and strengths-based, designed to be flexible and tailored to meet your unique needs. I draw on a variety of techniques to support your journey, including mindfulness practices that help you stay grounded and present. I've experienced loss myself and understand the toll it can take. I also recognize that complicated family dynamics and lack of social support can further impact your experience. I'm here to listen with empathy and provide warm, direct guidance.
My background in theatre arts allows me to incorporate creative exploration into our sessions, providing a dynamic way to engage with and express your emotions. I utilize attachment theory to understand and address relationship patterns, while integrating EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help process and heal from past traumas. Additionally, I apply principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist you in managing difficult emotions and developing more effective coping strategies.
For couples, I incorporate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to address a range of relational needs, from healing after infidelity to deepening emotional connection and improving communication. EFT provides a structured approach to understanding and transforming the underlying emotional patterns that lead to disconnection, especially in the wake of betrayal. By helping each partner explore and share their core attachment needs, EFT fosters empathy, trust, and understanding—key components for couples seeking to repair their bond after breaches in trust. In our work, couples learn to respond to each other with emotional openness, increasing the sense of safety and responsiveness in the relationship.
